Dopo la laurea in scienze della comunicazione all&#8217;Universit\u00e0 di Salisburgo, ha studiato cinema all&#8217;Accademia di belle arti di Amburgo. Martin Prinoth \u00e8 titolare della borsa di studio Gerd Ruge e fa parte del programma di sviluppo cinematografico internazionale EsoDoc 2020. Nel 2019 ha ricevuto la borsa di studio Robert Bosch &#8220;Grenzg\u00e4nger&#8221;. Il suo film d&#8217;esordio &#8220;The Fifth Point of the Compass&#8221; \u00e8 stato presentato in anteprima al 60 DOK Leipzig e ha ricevuto nomination e premi tra cui il premio VisioniDOC per il miglior documentario d&#8217;esordio italiano.
